Facebook is the most popular Social Networking Website. You knew that ? ! Okey. It is always Blue ! You knew that too ? Ok Here is something you might not have known. You can change the color of facebook as per your wish ! Here is how to change faceboook colour !
You might have come across many website which promise you to do you so but in return they will need you to "like" some pages, post links in your friends wall or invite your friends to the site etc, and then there will be a facebook application which will ask permission to access your data, post onto your wall etc etc, you will then have no choice but to allow it without knowing what does it do, and finally to your dissapointment you will know that its not the end of it, you need to install some application in your lappy to have it done !
The Navodaya Club brings you the most safest, easiest, reversible, userfriendly way of doing the same thing (:
You will need three things to do this; Java Developer Platform 11, Linux Core Kernels and Leopard Version 11.
Kidding ! You need none of that. Its Very Easy In fact.. You will need only Firefox (or Chrome) !
Now visit your profile and see the page automatically change color to match your profile image, now check your friends page, ok now check one of her friends page, ok now her friend's friend... Amazing ? !!! No no.. We were just talking about the colour scheme (;
How to bring back things as they were: Go to 'Tools' from the top menu then 'Greasemonkey', 'Userscript Commands...' and then "Facebook Auto-Colorizer" Alternatively right click on the happy GreaseMonkey logo at the right lower corner of your browser and unselect "Facebook Auto-Colorizer". Or just click once on the monkey. Thats it. Everything is as it used to be. The Blue facebook is back again ! If you are using Google Chrome web browser, go to "Window" then "Extensions" and then click "Disable" next to the Auto-Colorizer.
To change colour of specific elements of the facebook profile userscripts.org/scripts/show/9475
Userscripts applied through greasemonkey will only change the look of webpage at your computer and your friends can not see what modified page you are seeing. The Auto-Color Changer sometime does not look good in all the profiles, then you know what to do, just uncheck the script by right clicking the monkey at the right lower corner.
More Amazing Tips are coming up. Reply in this page on how did you like it.

Orkut Engineers have taken care of this condition. No More Panic. Use the web Safely !
Today on 25th september 2010, Orkut has been reportedly inflicted with a spam scrap virus named Bom Sabado ! Bom Sabado! in Portuguese means Good Saturday!
These spam scraps are result of some scripts which is posting scraps on scrapbook of members in the friend list. It seems that the script has been fed into the accounts of the orkut users. This is a type of insecurity known as XSS (cross-site scripting). The script generates a scrap and floods the friend list of the affected orkut user with the "Bom Sabado" messages. There is a chance that orkut may have been hacked !
How to know if you have been affected by this virus !
Many Orkut accounts have been affected since today morning and it is qiute plausible that your account might also have been affected. However there is no need to panic !!! The giants at orkut will not take much time to curb it.
Sympoms of Infection !!! (How to Know that you are Infected!)
You have received any scrap from your friends starting with or containing the word Bom Sabado or Bomb Amungu.
You have been automatically joined in some unknown community.
Your Status message has been updated automatically.
Your friends are getting scraps from you which you never had sent !
You are a potential victim if you have not yet received such a scrap but you are in the sender list of some one who has received such a scrap !
What Does the Virus Do ?
The intension behind this virus is yet not known.
So Please Don't panic !!!
What precautions to take ?
The best prevention is not to open orkut (do not visit any profile) But thats too much for we orkut addicts ! Isn't it ?
So here are some other ways to stay out of this mess.
Tips for Advanced Users
If you think you have been a victim to the Orkut virus, following the above tips should suffice in keeping the virus at bay, and after all the orkut egineers are already active. However if you are an advanced user and know about these XSS vulnerabilities. Here are some tips to address your paranoia !
There is a file named ‘hosts’. By default it is read-only. Go to it properties and uncheck the tickmark beside read-only and edit it with you favourite editor to add this line at the end of it 188.8.131.52 tptools.org
save it. and then restart your network interface to reconnect your internet connection. The virus will get inacivated.
Latest Updates !!!
Though there has been no mention from the official site yet, it is considered that the virus might have originated from Brazil ! Stating that Bom Sabado is in Portuguese which is the official language of Brazil.
The affected communities are being investigated. Those are Communities with id 106698808, 558494, 106698628,106691341 and few others. Google India is already workign on it...Just waiting for clearance from Orkut Brazil to delete the random communities that are being added by these virus. Orkut has disabled creation on new topics on these communities for the time being.
The Problem Has been Solved. No need to Panic Anymore !
Stay Tuned to get more such news !
